The Name
Zevras isn't a made-up word.
It comes from two Hindi words: ज़ेवर (zevar) meaning jewelry, and रस (ras) meaning essence, flavor, the soul of something.
Zevras is the essence of what jewelry should be. Not something you worry about. Not something that punishes you for living your life. Just beautiful pieces that stay beautiful — through everything.
The Problem
We were tired of jewelry that lied.
“Gold-plated” that lasted a week. You pay ₹800, wear it twice, and it's already fading. But you keep buying because what else is there?
Green marks on your skin from something that was supposed to make you feel beautiful. You Google “how to stop jewelry from turning green” and get told to coat it in nail polish. Seriously.
